The meaning behind the effort made by these Pharmaceutical companies towards the Non-for-Profit organization is that sponsor projects towards new found prescription drugs, and for that there is little independence on the part of the part of the Chairpersons of National Agencies such as NIAID, NCI, and OAR, which may receive additional fund from the State and from the City but the large operational dynamics of the Medical Campaigns including Cancer and AIDS sometimes force the agencies to look for assistance. Victoria Harden (2012) pointing to Africa and describing some of the basic HIV types associated with Africa, seem to summarize her journalistic inquiries and historical analysis on the success and failures of several new drugs. There are other grants by the State and the City and there are other programs such as Multicounty AIDs program (MAP), International Olympic Committee, PEPFAR – President’s Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief, FDA, NCI, NIAID (National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases) headed by Anthony Faucci, CDC, and PHS, NCI director Sam Broder,  Up John CEO Ted Cooper, Aaron Diamond Researcher David Ho, Fred Robbins, Frank Volvovitz; CEO of Micro-Genesys – Phase II, CDC, and the committee for new trials on HIV backed by Fauci ‘Micro Genesys AIDS’ and the phase I – III, of the AIDS VAX, which are roundly used in California ‘Vax Gen’ and the Vaccine Alvac-HIV….From 1985 – as some people has pointed out – that attention shifted from gathering information on the Virus which preoccupied the minds of the doctors in the early years of the discoveries to something else which was the rumor about the strain of the Virus in several labs in the country.

Jim Scanlon, writing for ‘The Coastal Post’ – June 1999 edition (1) ‘Did Transplanted Chimpanzee Testicles Start AIDS Epidemic in 1920’….? -, a question about one, a possible link between HIV and the testis, which is a view that dominated the early experiments on the study of the virus, where the full measure of the resources involved, leads the essay and Scanlon to the problems of the male testosterone and the attempt at virility. His speculations are however endless and the facts enduring that (2) HIV could have resulted from animals, arguing that ‘…Chimpanzees from Central Africa are origin of HIV’, an argument that is central to the dissent over HIV, and like vaccination - if not through vaccination, Africa as the origins of HIV is peculiar, it is also important. We agree only to some degree that there are reasons why Africa had to be the origins of HIV; for sure reasons exist as to why HIV is ridden to mufti-origin and if we thaw through the processes, it may reduce the fatal theoretical flaws leading to some of the failures with HIV experimentation. Scanlon displays his own reporting flair by comparing enduring classics on HIV, including a circulating note (2b) concerning, “One famous author even pinpointed the person responsible for the spread of AIDS in the United States to a French Canadian Flight Attendant.” The infamous story look to support the claim that the virus migrated from Central Africa to the United States through flight attendants and missionaries visiting Africa from Europe and then reverts to Africa sometime later osculating HIV I, II, III, and the theory is important because of the link to Polio Virus where scientist spent a lot of time.  There are however other serious, spurious new theories about HIV and human testicles, which has remain a theme in the market for the long time, and which resurfaced as a corollary to the incident of Ebola and it generate the highest leaning that the emphasis on the general theory of HIV is useful, that Ebola is comparable to pathology or HIV is indicative of what could possible result from the comparative nature of the VIRUS, including the degree of HIV’s audacity, showing departures and travel routes from one village in Africa to another. Such argument died a sudden death when it was not possible to show that all oncogenic viruses from human and primates from Zaire’s or Congo reproduce any hints of Immune Deficiency in human beings. It further suffered several other problems when the strain proved deleterious and cancerous possibly due to the same reasons why epigenetic methylation suffers from biological theoretical acceptance. We may or may not have even seen the end with Ebola virus since it is considered latent virus, which means that its impact on the human body is rapid and constant and usually perhaps operate like Influenza or Flu. Whereas HIV is not considered latent virus rather visna-like or slow virus (lent-virus), its presence in the human body is recognized by obvious signs of cold cases, and other cold-related symptoms which may or may differ from cold virus but may suggest like Ebola that other things are happening to the body.

One of the books that recollect some of the stories in the early stories of HIV in the Bronx and New York, is the book by Philip Alcabes (2010) Dread. The book is useful in considering what the early CDC workers attempted to achieve with HIV and how some of the jokes about HIV did not shy from the social stigma of those who were called freaks or in the 60’s, bums, some of who suffered all kinds of malfunction in the body and were essentially housed somewhere else. The attempt to contain some of the challenges of the virus using vaccination and the structure of HIV become necessary. In his chronicle on HIV he pointed to early date made by CDC which was released in September 1982, that “Homosexuals or bi-sexual makes – 75%, intravenous drug abuser with no history of homosexual activity – 13%, Haitians with neither a history of homosexuality or intravenous drug abuse – 6%, persons with hemophilia A with no other risk factors – 0.3%, and persons in none of the other groups – 5%.”, a position that has remained the case for a while. The emphasis is New York and its fights on new pandemic, and the challenges of health department in raising awareness in communities such as the Bronx. If there ae things to be said about the Dread, is the book relays how New York and perhaps the schools of medicine and health research led several wars on pandemics, including Polio which served the backdrop to the Rockefeller School of Medicine and the fight on for cancer and use of oral vaccine. Whereas anyone could get the virus he argues, it was simply the most dreaded thing partly for the fact that there was no cures at the time, but largely for the social stigma that was associated with it. At the beginning, the number of report on HIV among the Black and Hispanic in New York was quite slim, overtime, the number got bigger and the culture higher and among the new migrants from Haiti. Although New York in times past may have entertained the arrival of diseases and other infectious disorder, it has lead the fights against dangerous diseases, against Polio and Influenza, against diseases; both airborne and waterborne which some travelers and immigrants brought to New York, in which several places such as Randall’s Island, New York, served as the repository for those dead or dying, remain the quarantine for cold virus. The modernity of New York now and perhaps then appear on the world map and its visible schools of medicine where not always the case, for at least we can set our eyes on the formidable FDR days, whose efforts as Governor of New York and eventually president proved a watermark for the attitude of the public to issues of health. It would not mean that the anointing of Harlem River drive heading the F.D.R was named after for political reasons, but combating Polio by forces affiliated with his office such Bob O’Connor makes the faithful date of CDC necessary tools towards the growth in health we have seen over the years.

The question then and now is how did a once friendly virus open fire on humans, and why did major attack on Gay people occur. If there was another question that refused to be answered, it would have told why they were no reports on HIV cases among the women, why was it only the Gay men and not female Lesbian who were steep in drug taking and deviant sexuality, suffering from the Pneumonia? Clearly throwing some muscle to this fact, we may indicate that earliest cases on HIV had the presence of Pneumocystis, (Pneumonia) that the resulting symptoms were those like oral candidiasis and that it led to many direction that the embolism or the explosion of the candida in the body results from a diminishing of the bacteria that once checked its existence. The question and now is what bacteria or what growth inhibiting factor of candidiasis that was altered to make the virulence seem more common. For other accounts which need be mentioned her, Elton’s John ‘Love is the Cure’ is a detailing of his involvement in the life of Ryan White leading to the Ryan White CARE (Comprehensive AIDS Resource Emergency Act) in 1990 and the President Emergency AIDS Relief Funds which was signed to the relief of the world under George W. Bush. Ryan White had contacted HIV through a “treatment for Haemophilia” and Elton John on hearing how the young lad was ‘ostracized’ by his community for HIV status, got involved with the struggle of the family helping them fight the case of stigma that made the waters difficult for Elton John and his friends. Among the friends whom he mentions in his book as those ridden to secrecy for their condition is Freddie Mercury who he never mentioned to anyone that he was HIV positive until his dying day. Then as friends and heroes Elizabeth Taylor, for him, stand out for her courage in many things especially for publicly embracing the victims of HIV virus. It is easy to take faith in Elton John’s ‘Love is the Cure’ since it attempted to show that the war against HIV cannot always be won on the theater of vaccines and medicines, that there are preventive cures that are desperately needed. One of such is the change of our attitude to those with the virus and by understanding that the disease “…must be cured not a miraculous vaccine but by changing hearts and minds….” John implored the peoples of the world and their very Government to fight the terrible scourge of stigma, that “HIV/AIDS is a disease that not only attacks the human immune system; it attacks the human social system.”

The origin of HIV is the dividing line between several schools of HIV, and remain one of the demanding intellectual curve for most American scientist. Although we have problems doubting the origins of the virus as a natural reaction to unsafe environment, we point that some of the earliest triumphs on HIV acknowledged this difficulty in the nativity of HIV, and there are factors that shoved the attention of the primary group and the problems of stigma to Africa where research on HIV and its early triumphs ended a slowly, dying in effect. This stigma issues as an obstacle to the fight against HIV was also raised by Nelson Mandela and seem the theme behind the recent releases on the subject and discourses on HIV. Stigma is part of the concerns raised by Randy Shilts on why the government failed to narrow down the first cases of HIV in U.S.A, and isolate the patients without victimizing them, and essentially quarantine the virus at its early stage. Of course the assumptions are that the virus started with some he called Patient Zero – as if from him and other like him, the spread of HIV moved upwards. This myth – or not so a myth – is a problem wrapped in its enigma, such that the antibodies that we find deposited on the body of the victims and containing large tracts of CD4s are mainly due to the inability of  the body to match the rapid mitosis on the coupled RNA viruses. Eventually these T Cells give in due to weakened presence of oxygen bearing Red Blood cells, of course the product of which is the survival of the nucleus bearing White Blood cells from and through whence the interpretation and the translation of the foreign bodies are repackaged for the use of the body. As the story targeted these new inductee Gay Homosexuals, there was more than enough reason to have considered the virus as a staid from hemophiliacs, in fact some of the argument raised by Randy Shilts is that the government and corporations of interest did not meet the smallest general obligations for the distribution of the blood samples, that some of them were also infected with turned to be Pneumocystis Carinii Pneumonia. Brett Grodick (2007), describes life with HIV as a “chronic manageable condition” from what it’s to be and yet people are scared of the words “you are HIV-POSITIVE” and a lot has changed since the first cases of the virus but he acceptance that the virus has its own physical symptoms usually leads to stigma, and the stigma in all communities of AIDS, especially in Gay Communities is one of the strongest and through-going. One of the lessons on HIV which hardly dies away is the fact that majority of those concerned about HIV viruses and the incidents of AIDS, are usually AIDS victims, some of whom are members of the Gay Community. He argues that besides the problems of social acceptance and struggling problems of the community, there is nothing more profound than the problems of physical changes.. He gives us an example in his book that “Imagine having the words “AIDS” tattooed on your forehead. That’s how some people with HIV feel when they start to experience body shape changes, especially when they occur in the face…” He advises that “…studies have shown that replacing a nuke called Stavudine (Zerit) with either Abacavir (Zingen) or AZT (Retrovir) has produced “Statistically significant but clinical modest” increases in the amount of fat on extremities such as legs and arms.”

The title of this essay and in fact one of the more important essays of our generation should be 'Kicking the Ass of AIDS' but we shall open up on this topic by citing that Human beings have always found themselves challenged by all plaques since the beginning of time, that the challenge of each generation is the use of new technology to combat the old. I shall mention that going forward; the cure for HIV/AIDS can be reduced to a few years. I should be childish to indicate that based on half my knowledge on the subject, I can master and kick the ass of this virus in months of uninterrupted lab work. Some may grim at the sheer optimism of someone without a doctorate in Medicine or Biology and may consider it theoretical optimism, but the graft necessary for these kinds of jump off is not that farfetched, and would seem to settle the claim that the two headed viruses do no survive on their own. The twin headed viruses are a product of their circumstances as if they are sealed by fate concerning the cold virus or a virus that perform special infectious functions such as Streptococcus. While it is easy for me to accept that these giants in Medicine failed in areas I succeeded might clearly interest you with the fact that I spent 2 years studying Harvard Medicine for fun of it. Looking backwards to some of the stories from Bronx and from parts of White Plains, New York in the early 90’s, there is hardly anyone who knows what the virus was all about at the beginning and not a whole lot can be said that it also at this time in age. It was known to be deadly, known to remain dormant for a long time, to be conversant with Homosexuals and with illicit drug users especially when sharing needles was very dangerous due to blood contamination. On a special basis as well, there are reference to Russia and the events of Cold viruses, including period of long epizootic and Moritz Kaposi (Russia) associated with description of what eventually considered Sarcoma, pox related and what was reduced to sprouts through sebaceous gland – no different other skin cancers but mostly peculiar to a public sector.  The progress report on the history of patient recovery from extreme near end of life experience to have increased that HIV was acting like Parasite to the System, it was blood parasite largely for what the Blood contained for instance Plasma. It was only a matter of time that the puzzle would be solved of the Virus could be solved. It leaves us with a major point about the failures at the very beginning, especially the promising case of enzyme treatment. The premise which I believe to be central to the puzzle of the two headed virus, is that the stages of the virus is important – especially the case of mature Virion – also diagnosed as AIDS – may be consequential to our knowledge of AIDS is a form of Blood Cancer. One of the things I was privy to is the suicidal behavior and tendency of the victims leading me to understand why in the end, preventing the expansion of HIV was both dependent on the conscious decisions of the diagnosed and the attention given to the lifestyle on those either not sure or those with redoubtable status. The later may account for obvious cases of HIV transmission some of whom understood the implication of their lifestyles but would rather play ignorant to a HIV than face the emotional injury and social stigma associated with recently diagnosed. It is not enough to claim that a socials stigma for HIV is not strong; it is however a state of mind that welcomes that a cure was not yet available. Majority of the emphasis on this virus and patient is created in such a way as to suggest that it is the sexual activity of some group of Americans, for instance the so called Gay or Lesbian (?) or the African Americans whose nature is prone early healthy sexual life, are those who are major players in the spread of the virus groups receive the highest blame for the spread of HIV, whereas, anybody can infect others or infected by others. These stereotypes, particularly the problems of expertise of the field, Doctors or Nurses or Health Care experts, loathe observations by nearly anyone without a badge of certificate or honor. As such only those who caught the Virus and those with close family member with the diagnosed status that are interested in the learning about HIV with a degree of interest. The rest of us are incurable expat on opinions and diagnostic made available by those in field, but by condition of more direct investigation of the Patients and their drugs, we are able to see through the understandable but proud-ridden closed-off of medical institutions; CDC (Center for Disease Control) and private medically experts each seeking in their own ways to find the cure for HIV – one of the Viruses that can lead to Immune....

Nicole Itano investigative journalist to a HIV devastated South Africa explicated that the revival of interest in HIV in Lesotho by the organization; Lesotho Aids Program Coordinating Authority (LAPCA) was not directly due to the interest OF the subject generated from the public media, rather sue to the rude awakening that many of the dead and dying in South Africa where victims of a condition that was considered HIV.  The large spell of the book is the failure of the South African government to quickly provide some of the needed help for the new cases involving HIV, a position that mirrors some of the drive in for several books on HIV. We draw the conclusion that the first major pre-occupation in her book is the use of the 4Hs; Homosexuals, Hemophiliacs, Heroin users and Haitians, popular also at beginning  to describe the role of HIV, not only was a mental pre-occupation of the virus, but how it became the diseases for Africans. The author may or may not have exercised some of the suspicion surrounding the early use of drug companies in the Africa and the versions of vaccines used in named South African villages, for it seems that vaccines as many lives as HIV and Ebola. From her book, we compare the role ignorance can play in spreading HIV in any society and in many parts of world, and the role it has played towards sustaining the life of the Virus from the beginning and the role ignorance play still play today people were immune the virus. The central crux of the problem is the myth surrounding the origins of the virus and myths on how the virus can be handled. What are the origins of the Virus?

Deusberg (2003), opened some of his argument about Gallo that in 1985; Gallo changed the name of the Virus in 1985, for the human T-cell leukemia virus – substituted it for human T-cell lymph-tropic virus meaning infecting T-cells, that “A sample of the leukemic T-cells, originally named HUT78, was sent to his lab for isolating leukemia virus.” We can suggest that Deusberg did not specify the strain of virus that Gallo took, an argument raised by others concerning, the strain of the Zaire, whether it was the one from Zaire or some district in Africa. That there is a leukemia causing cancer virus means to add that their prognosis of the Feline oncogenic virus, is prove that the Elly Lilly and Rockefeller Institute were familiar with some of the ‘…cases of ‘Feline AIDS” (FAIDS), which Deusberg mention was isolated as “simian immunodeficiency virus” and blamed it for “AIDS” in monkeys (SAIDS), all of which are product of the 40’s in U.S and in France, and then 50’s were the curtain gradually fell for the rest of the biological scientist. That in limelight of those who discovered the oncogenic viruses or isolated it from the strain of a cancer causing virus, it was achieved in 1951 at Rockefeller Institute from possibly a strain of the Congo virus. It means that the dives on Gallo’s HIV buffs, is probably not new, may have started as a trial in the context of the theories about Viruses and primitive parts of Africa.
